Hamilton, NY — Junior tailback Jamaal Branch has been named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Â鶹¾«Æ·â€™s 31-9 win over Dartmouth last Saturday.

Branch wins the award for the first time in his career after rushing for a career-high 211 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries, averaging 8.1 yards per attempt. He scored touchdowns on runs of 4, 10 and 41 yards for the Raiders.
Meanwhile, Â鶹¾«Æ· moves up two places in this week’s Sports Network/CSTV I-AA Top 25 poll to 22nd place. The Raiders, who have won nine straight games, are 3-0 for the first time since 1983.
